Tasting Tradition
The cuisine in the Restaurant "Osteria del Castello" tells a story of aromas and flavours from Tuscan tradition, particularly the Chianti area, where local seasonal ingredients are treated with elegance. The welcoming hospitality highlights the beauty of the natural surroundings of the Brolio English Park.
The chef, Franco Sangiacomo, started out at Gaetano Trovato's school (two Michelin stars), icon of the world of haute cuisine and owner of the "Arnolfo" restaurant in Colle Val d'Elsa. Subsequent experiences in Italy and abroad have enriched his CV and his creativity, which he expresses using the best products from the Chianti area.

You can view the current menu at the Restaurant “Osteria del Castello”. You will find the spirit of the season in our menu: for example mushrooms in autumn, game in winter and fresh garden vegetables in spring and summer. We are constantly searching for high-quality local ingredients to use in full respect of the Tuscan tradition and accompanied by Chianti Classico wines and other prestigious Ricasoli labels.
Recipes
The chef of the Restaurant “Osteria del Castello” will select his own recipes each month that have been inspired by the culture of the Chianti area or will revisit typical Tuscan dishes, which you can try out at home.
